summer sunlight on water, part the first

i think this phrase comes from somewhere other than my mind, like the loosening screw is from the child abduction scene in close encounters of the third kind. but it has recurred in my usage over the years, generally as a phrase made out of words describing, or seeking to describe, laughter and/or some state of innocent elation.

lately it has been the subject of some of my idle MSPaint-ings.
(i don't paint)
(i hardly even MSPaint)
